The Dance Element's classes for preteens focus on
learning technique for ONE specific dance style.



(For example: Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, or Tap)





Students learn defining elements of each dance style/ genre & gain a greater understanding of dance technique with every weekly class. 9, 10, 11, & 12 year-old girls & boys attending our Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical, & Contemporary Dance Classes move quickly through the "basics" & progress to learning more advanced steps & skills.

Teachers build on previous lessons, consistently challenging dancers with new movement & choreography. Concepts of dance theory & technique keep students excited about learning, motivated to practice, ​& inspired to achieve success with each new goal.



Experienced Instructors guide preteen dance students with French terminology & age-appropriate exercises, training proficient artists with strong, healthy bodies.





The Dance Element's supportive atmosphere fosters camaraderie among dance students, not competition.


9, 10, 11, & 12 year-old children gain confidence at our dance studio because we teach them to believe in themselves & encourage each other. At The Dance Element, students learn the importance of teamwork & the meaning of "community," while developing lifelong friendships in our fun dance classes.


Preteens discover the value of having positive role models & becoming role models. ​After making this meaningful connection, dancers take pride in assisting younger students & helping their peers learn, grow, & succeed.
