Jay Stempin has been practicing Tai Chi since 1998.
In need of an outlet to relieve stress and reconnect with a sense of purpose, Jay found the internal martial art of Tai Chi in Nevada City, California. He began studying a Yang style and it changed his life in an energizing way.
After relocating to Wisconsin, he discovered a Yang/Tso variation of this mind-body-spirit exercise, which he credits with helping him rekindle his courage, rebuild his core strength, and re-establish his positive outlook on life.
Jay believes everyone deserves to be happy, feel good, and move with freedom from pain.
He loves helping others overcome obstacles and make life sparkle through the self-healing practice of Tai Chi.
Jay also shares his passion with students at UNCW.
He has enjoyed leading beginner Tai Chi Classes
for Adults & Seniors
at The Dance Element since January of 2024.
